Amid raging strategic issues, 8th BRICS Summit begins in Goa
The heads of five member nations of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) have gathered at Goa for the 8th BRICS Summit which began on Saturday. India is the host as well as the Chairman of the Summit. Representatives from the BIMSTEC (The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) countries will also be present at the summit.

शनिवार को गोवा में ब्रिक्स बैठक शुरू होने से पहले प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के बीच द्विपक्षीय संबंधों और पाकिस्तान के साथ बढते तनाव के संबंध में बातचीत होने की संभावना है। ब्रिक्स अर्थात ब्राज़ील, रूस, भारत, चीन और दक्षिणअफ्रीका। इसी सम्मलेन में बिम्सटेक समूह का नेतृत्व भी मौजूद रहेगा।
