3. Notes of Rs.500 denomination came into circulation in October 1987
4. Notes of Rs.1000 denomination were reintroduced in 1954 and demonetized in January 1978. Then they made a comeback in November 2000, and went away in November 2016.5. Rs. 2000 denomination note has been introduced for the first time in India in Nov 2016.
6. The highest denomination note ever printed by the RBI was the Rs.10,000 note in 1938, and again in 1954.
7. In the year 1980, the legend Satyameva Jayate was incorporated under the national emblem, on currecy notes, for the first time.
8. Governor Urjit Patel is the 24th Governor of the R.B.I.

7. करेंसी नोटों में, वर्ष १९८० में, सत्यमेव जयते को पहली बार राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक चिन्ह के नीचे अंकित किया गया।
8. गवर्नर उर्जित पटेल आर.बी.आई. के २४ वे गवर्नर हैं।
